The Frontier Barn Quilt Trail and the Susquehanna Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) held the first Frontier Barn Quilt Trail Road Rally Saturday October 6th. Starting at the Fulton County fairgrounds a mix of car enthusiasts began a 59 mile scavenger hunt. The drive featured 37 of Fulton County’s 200-plus barn quilts and five checkpoints. Each team consisted of a driver and a navigator to wind through the scenic route in order to find answers to questions. The rally was not based on speed but on answers to the questions. The weather started with a foggy day where many drivers had fun navigating but when they arrived at check point Crystal Spring, it was a beautiful sunny day. We would like to thank all sponsors and participants for this year’s rally and hope to see you next year.
