This was a birthday gift for Sid.  When I spoke to Charlie Harr about creating this piece for us, he said to give him some hobbies/interests that we have.  Benni our Saint Bernard was the center and focus of the piece.  Sid has been a Firefighter, EMT and Paramedic since he was a young teenager when he discovered his desire, skills and knowledge with Emergency Services.   We are Pittsburgh Steelers Fans and I loved to bake.  Therefore, the talented Charlie Harr incorporated all those things on this quilt.  And, how about the colors…..we love it!
